People come to my studios for a myriad of reasons, and i'm always eager to meet you where you're at.
Whether the goal of your session is about connecting with your body, documenting growth, a self-care activity, trying a new set design, getting new work photos, or truly any other reason, I'm excited to bring your vision to life.
As a trauma-conscious and neurodivergent photographer, I like to be as clear and communicative about the experience as possible. I prefer to provide more information than not enough, and I utilize intake forms to obtain all the info that I need from you!
How It Works
01.
Choose your session type, set design, & lighting style
The first step is truly the hardest one! Choose your preferred session type (intro, standard, full, specialty, etc;), set design (current theme, greenery, etc), and lighting style (natural light, stylized, photographer's choice, etc). Once you've decided, book your session type online! You'll select your set design and lighting on the booking questionnaire. Can't decide? Schedule a consultation with me!
02.
Send your booking fee & Complete intake form
After booking on the site, you'll send your non-refundable deposit to secure the date. (You can pay in full, request a payment plan, or pay your balance in session.) You'll also receive an email with an intake form for you to complete, which is where I'll obtain all the info needed about you & your vision/goals. If you're requesting a custom set design, you'll also be prompted to complete a Set Design Style Questionnaire!
03.
PREP FOR YOUR SESSION
In your confirmation email, you'll find a Welcome & Prep Guide with a ton of info. Please look through this guide! It will help you prepare your body, your mind, and will help with your wardrobe/packing list. Can't decide on your wardrobe or need help filling out your intake form? Intro, Standard, Full, and Specialty Sessions come with a complimentary Video Consult where we can chat through the details!
04.
ARRIVE TO YOUR SESSION
It's session day! You'll receive an email the week of your session confirming the time, location, and any remaining balance. This email will also remind you about parking and important studio policies outlined in the Welcome Guide. Make sure you get a lot of rest the night before and stretch!
Your Welcome Guide includes information about the flow of each session type, but we always start with introductions & paperwork, then do a quick studio tour, then you'll get changed, and we'll get started! You may arrive up to 10 minutes early to your session start if you need extra time to get comfy or changed.
05.
SELECT YOUR IMAGES FOR EDITING
Within 14 days* of your session, you'll receive your "Selection Email". In the selection email, you'll choose which images you would like to be edited. Each session comes with an established amount of digital images with the option to add more.
*If you added a rush upgrade to your session, you'll receive this email in 1 week.
Note: For full sessions, you will not receive a selection email. This is because your session fee comes with all of the edited images - you don't need to choose! SinnStax will curate the whole gallery for you.
06.
RECEIVE YOUR IMAGES
Your password-protected digital gallery will be available within 2-4* weeks of your selection being submitted. You will download your images directly from Pixieset, and they are yours to keep! Remember to back up and save these photos - the gallery expires within 3 months.
If you're getting a Mobile Gallery App, you'll receive the link to this at the same time! It will be active for one year and is view-only.
*If you added a rush upgrade to your session, you'll receive your gallery within 1-2 weeks of your selection submission.
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You should know that you're in good hands!! Any session type that you choose will come with a Welcome & Prep Guide that will help you prepare, and I'll be available every step of the way! I always recommend booking a consultation if you have any questions, and I'll help you get booked at the end of the appt!
Do you do couples photography or best friend sessions?
Yes! I photograph duos frequently! An additional person can be added to your Intro, Standard, or Full Session in the booking questionnaire! There is a $50 fee for an additional person, and it does remove an outfit option. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Which session type should I choose?
Great question! If it's your first session (with me or in general!), I would recommend booking an Intro or Full session. Intro sessions are great for clients who want to try out 1 or 2 outfits without being rushed. Full sessions are really the *full experience* - plenty of time, plenty of options, and all of the extra amenities. If you are looking for something in between these - I recommend booking a Standard session and keeping it to 2-3 outfits.
What is an Intro Session? Is this for new clients only?
An Intro Session is essentially a mini session with no rush and extra perks! They have extra time built in for logistical reasons like filling out paperwork for first time clients as well as comfort reasons - I think it's important to allow folks to get comfortable in the space before rushing into session. While I designed Intro Sessions with first time clients in mind, they are available to anyone who would like some extra time and are not restricted to your first booking.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! There's a style guide in your Welcome & Prep Guide, and I also offer the SinnStax Client Closet!
Do you offer a Client Closet?
I do have a client closet available for most session types! It is stocked in lingerie and robes from sizes XS-5X, and is included with all session types except Mini & Dual Sessions. The client closet can be added to other session types with a fee.
Why are Mini & Dual Sessions only available to repeat clients?
Mini and Dual Sessions are very fast - after changing clothing and getting situated, they both only allow for about 30 minutes of being photographed. The Dual Session comes to about 30 minutes in each set, but it is still very fast!
These are open to repeat clients only because we can streamline the introductory part of the session and we already have an established connection! If a mini session is booked by a new client, it will be automatically changed to an intro session.
Do you offer a membership for discounted sessions?
I do, and it's the best!! I offer a membership that includes session fee discounts, product discounts, early access to set designs and events. Learn more under "Contact > SinnStax Membership"
What does "suggested price" mean? What is "sliding scale" and how do I know how much to pay?
If you aren't used to sliding scale pricing for services, this might feel a little confusing! Intro & Mini Sessions with me are always available at the "suggested price", which is the amount that I would charge if there wasn't a sliding scale! This is the amount that most people will pay. I offer the sliding scale for folks in need of photography services who cannot afford suggested pricing, which includes but is not limited to BIPOC, trans and/or queer people, performers, swers, and other individuals in need. My sliding scale is on the honor system, and I ask that white folks reflect on their individual privilege and proximity to wealth when placing themselves on the scale. If you are a privileged person, please consider paying at the top of the sliding scale to allow me to continue offering the bottom end of the scale - this is my primary income and I intentionally offer a large scale for folks to place themselves on. Do you do headshots or fully clothed portraits?
I do! I do not only photograph nude and nearly nude clients, though it is certainly my specialty. I'll have headshots and portrait sessions available for booking here soon... in the meantime, feel free to email me for pricing and availability at sinnstax@gmail.com.
Do you offer group sessions or photo parties?
I do! Whether you are an established group looking for photos or in search of a fun, private party idea, I do it all! Contact me for more info at sinnstax@gmail.com.
Do you photograph events?
At this point in time, I do not photograph events. I do, however, offer photo events and party packages for group sessions, bachelorette parties, etc. Feel free to contact me for more info!
Are you available outside of Philadelphia?

Is there anyone that you won't photograph?
I don't photograph anyone under the age of 21, and I don't photograph anyone with racist or appropriative hairstyles, tattoos, or ideals.
Do you do collabs?
I am always interested in entertaining collabs with other creators and makers. If you create items and need them photographed, let's chat!
