Hi! I'm Jae! You can also call me Sinn.

I ~created~ SinnStax in May 2021

I'm having a really hard time writing about myself! Who am I? Who is anyone? I'll be revisiting this, and truly appreciate your patience 💕

As a trauma-conscious photographer, I do my best to cause as little harm as possible. As a queer, non-binary, small-fat, neurodivergent, femme ~content creator~ with chronic pain, I see you and the societal standards that attempt to tear us down. I'm eager to hear your vision, meet you where you're at, and make some magic. Let's get started.

01.

Fact 1

I love pink. Like... so much. You'll walk into the building and be like wow that's a lot of pink and it'll just keep going

02.

Fact 2

I got my ~photography start~ photographing butts. I have since expanded my repertoire but will always return to butts.

03.

Fact 3

If you bring me an Oat Mocha Latte at the beginning of our session I'll love u 4ever (but no bucks! 🍉)

Every Session Is Different

How do I meet you where you're at?

I love to work closely and collaboratively leading up to your session to understand your vision, discuss any goals, and to learn how I can best support you in session through a trauma-conscious lens. I always aim to create an atmosphere and experience that allows you to connect with yourself in front of my lens and see yourself, truly, in the images we create together.

KIND WORDS & LOVE NOTES

I have never worked with someone who makes me feel so comfortable and confident. You are such a talented photographer, you put so much care and consideration into your rotating set designs and you have a way of directing behind the camera that is helpful and encouraging! All of this combined creates some of the most gorgeous photos time and time again. When I shoot with you I feel like I finally get to see myself the way the world sees me. Thank you for making me feel beautiful 💕

A Trauma-Conscious Approach

I am incredibly proud to identify myself as a trauma-conscious photographer. I learned the principles of trauma-informed care and how they can apply to photography by my incredible mentor, Devon Dadoly. You’ll receive a Welcome Guide upon booking that details the principles and how I apply them to my work, as well as an intake form that specifically asks if there’s anything that I should know when photographing you in regards to trauma. In short, I do my absolute best to cause as little harm as possible.
